This project was focused on the study of two architectural precedents and to follow up with a combination of both.
The first was analysed programmatically; in this case, the Arteconomy house, by Belgian architecture firm 51N4E.
This particular renovation opens up the artist’s home, and allows for a continuity of spaces destined to host and exhibit in a private setting.
The second analysis is focused on the architectural language and the precedent is the O house from Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto. The house is completely open, and different gradients of privacy are achieved through length and angles.
The following project is an attempt to organize the programmatic elements of the Arteconomy house while following the architectural principles from the O house.
